The Executive Edge: Supporting the Professionals Who Keep Business Moving
This spring’s activities with EAO in California were all about building relationships, sharpening skills, and honoring excellence.

At Urbanride, getting from A to B is only part of the journey. What sets us apart is our
commitment to the people behind the businesses we serve – particularly the executive assistants and
administrative professionals who keep everything running seamlessly. That’s why we actively engage with
Executive Assistants Organization (EAO) and support events that recognize and empower these key individuals.
This spring, we had the privilege of participating in two standout EAO gatherings that
honored, educated, and connected professionals within this important community.
Celebrating Administrative Professionals Day
On April 23rd, we joined EAO in San Francisco for an unforgettable evening at the Golden
Gate Yacht Club, hosted by our partners at Live it Up Charters on the yacht Hotel California.
The event brought together local executive assistants to enjoy wine tastings, gourmet
catering, yacht tours, and a spirited passport challenge, with the winners earning a coveted spot on a
charter aboard the same yacht.
Urbanride was proud to contribute by providing complimentary ground transportation to
three lucky winners and surprising several attendees with gift cards to local restaurants. The entire
evening was a celebration of the dedication and professionalism that EAs bring to their roles every day –
and we were honored to be part of it.
Professional Development at the Behind Every Leader Conference
Earlier in the season, we attended the Behind Every Leader conference at Prisoner Wine
Company in St. Helena, California. Hosted in the heart of wine country, this gathering brought together
executive assistants for a full day of learning, networking, and inspiration.
Sessions covered practical skills, workplace tools, and career development strategies, all
led by experienced speakers and industry experts. From new insights on emotional intelligence to time-saving
tips for digital platforms like Slack, the day offered valuable takeaways for everyone in attendance.
The day’s main highlight was the sheer networking. Attendees from across the Bay Area and
beyond connected over shared experiences, best practices, and future opportunities. The conversations were
meaningful, and the connections formed are already driving new collaborations.
Building Trust Beyond the Ride
At Urbanride, we believe our service is not just about transportation – it’s about trust.
By participating in events like these and supporting industry associations more broadly, we deepen our
relationships with the professionals who rely on us and reaffirm our commitment to their success.
We’re excited to continue showing up in ways that go beyond logistics – supporting
professional communities, recognizing the people who make businesses thrive, and fostering connections that
last long after the ride is over.
If you’re an EA or part of a professional organization looking to connect, collaborate, or
co-host a future event, let’s start a conversation today!
